André Kuipers worked twice aboard the International Space Station, one of the most demanding workplaces in the world. He explains how astronauts prepare for the unforeseen: staying alert, never getting too comfortable, and solving problems nobody saw coming.
Afterwards we sit down with our colleagues Jasper Blaauw and Henriëtte Pinckaers and translate those lessons to our own project practice.
